All proceeds support the Nebraska Cultural Endowment’s mission of cultivating a legacy of stability, advocacy and leadership for the arts and humanities in Nebraska.

Ticket for 1 to the NCE25 patron reception with drinks & heavy hors d’oeuvres (5:30 p.m.), and priority seating for the program (7 p.m.) in the concert hall. Limited valet parking will be available.

Featured Guests
Ada Limón is the author of six books of poetry, including The Carrying, which won the National Book Critics Circle Award for Poetry. Her book Bright Dead Things was nominated for the National Book Award, the National Book Critics Circle Award, and the Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award. Her work has been supported most recently by a Guggenheim Fellowship. She was the host of the critically-acclaimed poetry podcast, The Slowdown. She grew up in Sonoma, California and now lives in Lexington, Kentucky where she writes and teaches remotely. Her new book of poetry, The Hurting Kind, is out now from Milkweed Editions. She is the 24th Poet Laureate of The United States.

Matt Mason is the Nebraska State Poet and was Executive Director of the Nebraska Writers Collective from 2009-2022. Through the U.S. State Department, he has run workshops in Botswana, Romania, Nepal, and Belarus. Mason is the recipient of a Pushcart Prize and fellowships from the Academy of American Poets and the Nebraska Arts Council, and is a speaker in the Humanities Nebraska Speakers Bureau.
